The Fulbright Academy of Science and Technology is a non-geographically based and independent alumni community which coordinates programs around the globe to faciliate community activism. I was one of a 25-member delegate invited to take part in the 5th World Science Forum in Budapest, 2011, granted the opportunity to meet Science Ministers from numerous countries, leaders of UNESCO and AAAS, and countless other scientists, program administrators, and policy makers responsible for steering future scientific endeavor.
Additionally, the TEDxFulbright conference series was established by the Young Alumni Council in 2011.
